Fellowship opportunities
Fellowship applications can take months to develop. Within R&I, we have colleagues who are dedicated to help you from start to finish. We can help you decide which fellowship scheme is best for you and with detailed budgets, we can provide patient & public involvement advice, we can arrange mock interviews and we can introduce you to successful fellows. Postdoctoral opportunities | NIHR
Salaried time to undertake funded postdoctoral research and a bespoke training and development programme.
The Postdoctoral Award Cohort 1 scheme is currently open and closes on the 3rd July at 1.00pm.
Clinical Lectureships in Medicine and Dentistry are currently open and close on the 1st Sept at 1.00pm (Medicine) and 31st March 2026 at 1.00pm (Dentistry).
Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB)
The NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) programme is currently open for stage 1 applications for research proposals that are concerned with the day-to-day practice of health service staff, and that have the potential to have an impact on the health or wellbeing of patients and users of the NHS.
