We are delighted to have worked with AccessAble to produce accessibility guides for facilities, wards, and departments at Leeds General Infirmary, St James’s University Hospital, Seacroft Hospital, Wharfedale Hospital, and Chapel Allerton Hospital.
To celebrate, a virtual launch event is being held on Wednesday 5th April between 11:00am and 12:00pm.
The launch will be held via Teams, and you can access the Teams link on the official launch event flyer.
Following a successful pilot at Chapel Allerton Hospital, the use of AccessAble across hospital sites has been made possible thanks to over £75,000 of funding from Leeds Hospitals Charity.
The Guides are 100 percent facts, figures and photographs to help patients, visitors and staff plan their journeys to and around the hospital sites, covering everything from parking facilities and hearing loops, to walking distances and accessible toilets.
