It's finally here... We're going on a bear hunt, today!

1 July 2023

Today marks the launch of Leeds Bear Hunt, a city wide art trail featuring 35 larger-than-life bears and 48 bear cubs, all beautifully decorated by artists, schools and community groups from across Leeds.
The family friendly (and free!) trail is open all summer long from today. Find out more here:
The trail app is available to download now from the Apple/Google app stores and is the best way to experience the trail. Printed trail maps are available from the “Bear Cave” pop-up shop on the ground floor of Trinity Leeds (LS1 5AT) or the Leeds Hospitals Charity shop in the Merrion Centre.
Leeds Bear Hunt is delivered by Leeds Hospitals Charity along with a host of creative partners. The trail is set to raise £300,000 for projects to support patients at Leeds Children's Hospital.
Each of the 35 full size bears features a story from one of our patients so bear hunters will see the types of projects Leeds Hospitals Charity are supporting at Leeds Children's Hospital. These stories reflect the struggles our patients face, the courage they show and the friendships they find along the way.
Our very own 'Bear Full of Care' is standing proud outside the main entrance to the Children's Hospital. The 'BFC' is part of the trail and will be welcoming patients as well as posing for selfies all summer long!
Let's go on a bear hunt! It's a guaranteed great day out and it's all for a bear-illiant cause.
