Become a Leeds Teaching Hospitals QI Partner
QI Partners will be the people who help Leeds Teaching Hospitals become the best place for Patient Care. Can you help us make that happen?
We need people who can put forward the perspective of patients in our innovative project to improve the safety and experience of patients at LTHT. With our support you will work with a team of professionals to offer a patient perspective of the solutions being discussed. You do not need to have been a patient at our hospital, as you will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills from your day to day experience. You will need to be empathetic, a good listener and be willing to work with us to develop the project. There is a commitment of around 6 hours per month.
We would welcome applications from all our current and/or former patients, as well as:
- Those under 40 with experience of healthcare
- LGBTQ+ people
- BAME communities
- Those wanting experience of NHS Safety Work
- Cancer Patients (current or former) and those close to them
Further details about the role is provided at the bottom of the page.
At this time, our meetings are held virtually, therefore, we need people who are able to use MS Teams or be willing to learn (training can be provided).
I'm Interested! How Do I Apply?
Due to high levels of interest, we have closed applications early this year. We apologise if you wished to apply for the 2020 cohort.
We will be opening applications again next year so please email us to register your interest for 2021.
In the meantime, there are opportunities to support the Leeds Hospitals in other ways. Details of these are on the PCPI pages. The team would welcome your interest.
