Become a Quality Improvement Partner

We are not currently accepting applications for the QI Partners but will be recruiting again later in the year dependent upon the COVID19 recovery.  We would welcome expressions of interest from all our current and/or former patients, as well as:

  • Carers
  • Those under 40 with experience of healthcare
  • BAME and LGBTQ+
  • Those wanting experience of NHS Safety Work

We are developing a number of ways in which you can gift your time as a QI Partner from short term intensive offer e.g. a full week immersive to 6 hours monthly over a longer term or any combination that suits your circumstances.  Please use the form below or contact the PCPI team on In the meantime below are the recruitment documents which provide an explanation of the role.

We look forward to hearing from you

Quality Improvement Partners will be the people who help Leeds Teaching Hospitals become the best place for Patient Care. Can you help us make that happen?

We need people who can put forward the perspective of patients in our innovative project to improve the safety and experience of patients at LTHT. With our support you will work with a team of professionals to offer a patient perspective of the solutions being discussed. You do not need to have been a patient at our hospital, as you will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills from your day to day experience. You will need to be empathetic, a good listener and be willing to work with us to develop the project. There is a commitment of around 6 hours per month.

Welcome letter from Julian Hartley
