5-day Anti-microbial Decolonisation

Prior to your central venous access device insertion it is important to use the daily body wash and nasal cream provided in the following way.

Body-wash use (daily)

Wet the body all over.

Place undiluted cleaning agent onto a clean cloth.

Apply body-wash all over body.
Pay extra attention to the starred (*) areas.
Also complete 2 hair washes in 5 days

Rinse off.
Dry with a clean towel.
Wear clean clothes.

Nasal cream (3 times a day)

Apply a small amount of Nasal Cream to each nostril. Pinch nostrils together DONT blow your nose for 30 minutes after.
