You have had a camera test today (cystoscopy) and an abnormality has been found within your bladder which requires further investigation and/or treatment.
The doctor or nurse who has done your procedure will discuss the next steps with you and make arrangements for this.
We have a weekly meeting to discuss all new patients during which a urology consultant will review your case. Occasionally this could mean that your treatment plan will change.
If this happens
A specialist nurse will contact you by telephone to discuss the change in plan and explain the reasons for it.
Following this a member of the administration team will be in touch with a date for your procedure.
Please be reassured that this will not impact upon your treatment outcomes.
