Antony was appointed Chair by NHS England in June 2025 and joined the Trust in August 2025.
He brings extensive board-level leadership experience across the NHS, public services, and the voluntary sector. Antony is a former Independent Chair of Medway Community Healthcare and former Non-Executive Director and Independent Chair of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has also served as a Board Director of the International Health Alliance and as Chair of The Health and Europe Centre.
Alongside his NHS roles, Antony was Chair of national advocacy provider POhWER for over five years until August 2025. He has held Chief Executive roles in leading national charities and was Board Advisor and inaugural Chief Executive Officer of a children’s services company.
Antony has more than two decades of experience in commercial and strategic leadership, specialising in partnership development, organisational change, and large-scale transformation across health, education, children’s services, and community programmes in the UK and Europe.
