Throughout his career Mike has held a variety of clinical and managerial roles including senior nursing roles before moving across to general management in 2000. Since then, he managed services in Theatres and Critical Care, Cancer services and Neurosciences across a number of organisations in Yorkshire and returned to the Trust in 2016.
In his current role as Director of Transformation he is responsible for shaping the organisational strategy and has a passion for ensuring that strategy is rooted in the experiences our colleagues and patients have of delivering and receiving services. He also takes the lead executive role on the work of our Improvement Team, aligning their work to the priorities we have as an organisation and on partnerships, working with colleagues across the organisation, the city and region to improve the experience patients have as they move through our services.
