Tim began his career in the NHS as a Complaints Officer in one of the large London Trusts. He went on to manage the complaints service and played a key role in establishing one of the country’s first Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) teams, piloting this new approach to patient support. These early roles gave him valuable insight into the concerns and priorities of patients when accessing NHS services, shaping his commitment to improving care and experience.
With nearly 25 years of operational management experience, Tim has worked across therapy services, theatres, and renal services. In 2013, he returned to Yorkshire and joined Leeds Teaching Hospitals as General Manager for Urgent Care. He later managed Abdominal Medicine and Surgery and took on the role of Director of Operations for the Leeds Vaccination Centre, leading delivery of the COVID-19 vaccination programme. Most recently, Tim has served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, supporting the Trust’s operational leadership and service delivery.
