Real World Evidence Alliance at Leeds (REAL)
The Real World Evidence Alliance at Leeds (REAL) team is the result of a collaboration between Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) and IQVIA, a commercial partner who seeks to improve global healthcare through data, technology, analytics and expertise.
This collaboration provides support, both technical and staffing, to enable LTHT to analyse their patient data to produce scientific research. In turn, these studies can help shape and improve the care we give to our patients in the future.
These studies are run in accordance with the hospital's strict information governance policies which ensures that identifiable patient data is never shared with anyone outside of the hospital.
Data from patients who have opted out of data sharing is not included in our studies.
Many of these reports have been presented at national and international conferences and have been published within peer reviewed journals.
