British Heart Foundation
British Heart Foundation offers research funding opportunities throughout the year ranging from project and programme awards, infrastructure, fellowships for medical, nurses and other healthcare professionals, springboard and starter grants, meeting and travel bursaries throughout the year. British Scoliosis Research Foundation
The BSRF launch a range of research funding opportunities on a bi-annual basis. They are Small exploratory grant, New investigation grant and Major research grant, available to appropriately qualified professionals such as scientists, clinicians, and allied health professionals (nurses, psychologists or physiotherapists).

Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Venture and Innovation (VIA) awards are leverage funding, whereby funds are awarded following the success of an application to an external funding body.

Heart Research UK
HRUK have launched the Novel and Emerging Technologies (NET) grants to diagnose, treat and prevent heart disease and related conditions up to £250,000.
