Medicine Gaps (MeGa) study information
Medicines Gaps (MeGa) study
Gaps in treatment influence patient safety, treatment outcomes and have an impact across the NHS. Non-adherence is defined as the extent to which the patient's action does not match the agreed recommendations.
This study aims to understand the extent of non-adherence to medicines known as oral anticoagulants (DOACs) and cholesterol-lowering medicines (statins). This study will analyse repeat prescriptions and anonymised patient data from GP records
