The Cardiology department at Wharfedale Hospital offers you a broad range of non-invasive heart investigations.
We accept referrals from pre-assessment and outpatient clinics across the Trust and from GPs in the local area.
Cardiology services we offer include:
- Electrocardiography (ECG)
- Ambulatory ECG recording
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
- Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound)
- Basic spirometry
If you are referred to one or more of these investigations you should typically enjoy short waiting list times and the convenience of a hospital serving a local area.
Our aim is to offer a range of efficient, high quality services, which focus on facilitating the needs of patients referred to us with heart problems. We are a small, friendly team who pride ourselves in going that extra mile for all our patients.
If your referring GP or consultant recommends an investigation we provide, please ask for Cardiology at Wharfedale Hospital. You can be sure of a warm welcome from all our team.
