Leeds Children’s Hospital Parent Carer Forum is a parent-led group that exists to support the improvement of children and young people’s services at Leeds Children’s Hospital, ensuring that every patient’s voice is heard.
The Parent Carer Forum has been established by parents and carers who are happy to share their own experience of hospital services in order to help services improve.
Where and when
The forum holds meetings every six months, generally online to make attendance practical. We ask that participants attend as often as they can but there is no fixed commitment.
There may be occasions when when events or meetings are held at the hospital but attendance will be optional.
Why get involved?
Being part of the Parent Carer Forum gives you the chance to:
- Share your lived experiences and ideas
- Help to improve services for children and families
- Work in partnership with hospital staff
- Meet other parents and carers with shared experiences
- Make a real and lasting difference to future hospital care
By joining the Parent Carer Forum you will have the opportunity to help shape services, highlight what works well and suggest improvements that make a difference to children and families.
