A Multidisciplinary Team refers to a group of healthcare professionals from various specialties who collaborate to provide comprehensive care for patients. Each member of the team brings their unique expertise to address different aspects of a patient’s condition, ensuring holistic treatment and better patient outcomes.
The MDT approach is often used in the management of complex cases. The team works together to create a personalized care plan that addresses the medical, physical, emotional, and social aspects of a patient’s health.
