Introduction
The Celllular Pathology Service is part of the Pathology Clinical Services Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. It provides Histopathology, Cytolopathology, Andrology and Mortuary services to the Leeds Teaching Hospitals and the Clinical Commissioning groups for Leeds, Bradford and parts of North Yorkshire.

Turn Around Times
- We aim to report 95% of the cases within 28 days and our current average turnaround times for July to September 2025 (Q2 of 25/26);
- Cytology specimens is 9.15 days
- Urgent biopsies is 14.22 days
- All histopathology specimens is 28.23 days
- Semenology specimens is 1.39 days.
