Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Cellular Pathology department is the proud host of the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trust (WYAAT) CPGC.
The WYAAT CPGC delivers Cellular Pathology support for molecular testing across the WYAAT Pathology Network. This includes the preparation of samples for genomic testing in the North East and Yorkshire Genomic Laboratory Hub and a limited range of in-house molecular immunohistochemistry and PCR-based testing. The NHS trusts supported by the CPGC include;

In addition, the CPGC supports delivery of the Cancer Vaccine Launch Pad across a number of clinical trials sites within Yorkshire and Humber and supports education for Pathologists and Biomedical/Clinical Scientists involved in NHS molecular testing pathways.
The centre is located on Level 5, Bexley Wing, Cellular Pathology department, St James’ University Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds, LS9 7TF.
