Serological assay for screening for Toxoplasma gondii. Antibodies rise during active infection then stabilize as infection resolves. Screening is indicated in congenital infection (neonate sample) or maternal samples for the investigation of IUD / Polyhydramnios / congenital infection. Investigation may also be implicated in immunosuppressed patients.
