The Leeds Cancer Centre comprises of all seven hospitals and 19 clinical service units within Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. The Centre is one of the largest providers of cancer care in the UK and provides some of the most comprehensive and advanced treatment and care for people with cancer anywhere in the world.

The Centre offers integrated cancer services for the people of Leeds as well as being the specialist centre for patients within the West Yorkshire & Harrogate and the Humber Coast & Vale Cancer Alliances. Our expertise and quality of care also attracts patients from other parts of the country and abroad.

The Leeds Cancer Centre approach to cancer care combines clinical expertise with state of the art diagnostic facilities, leading edge technology, ground breaking new treatments and an extensive range of support services.

We are one of the largest and leading providers of radiotherapy in the UK. Radiotherapy uses targeted beams of X-Rays to destroy tumours and cure or reduce the symptoms of cancer. We are located in the second basement level of the Bexley wing.

Over 5,000 people have chemotherapy at Leeds Cancer Centre each year. Chemotherapy uses drugs to destroy cancer cells to cure or reduce the effect of the disease. The main day case unit is located on Level 1 in Bexley Wing.
