Right in the heart of the city, Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) has been saving lives for nearly 250 years.

It is a specialist regional centre for a number of complex conditions including heart surgery, neurosurgery and trauma, as well as providing many general acute hospital services.
St James's University Hospital
St James's University Hospital

“Jimmy's”, as it is affectionately known, is internationally famous as Europe’s largest teaching hospital.

It is home to services including acute and elderly medicine, A&E, a number of surgical specialities, as well as being a world-renowned centre for highly specialised organ transplantation.
Chapel Allerton Hospital
Chapel Allerton Hospital

A popular facility in the north of Leeds, Chapel Allerton Hospital is particularly highly rated by patients.

Among its facilities is a dedicated centre for the diagnosis, management and treatment of adult patients with upper and lower limb complaints.

Leeds Children's Hospital was created at Leeds General Infirmary in 2010. It is one of the largest specialist facilities for children anywhere in the UK.

The hospital is housed in Clarendon Wing and has direct access to all our essential services. Meeting your child's needs under one roof means we don't push you from pillar to post to get the treatment your loved one needs.
