Additional Information This assay is based on an immunofluorescence assay. Specifically antibodies to F-actin are most strongly associated with autoimmune hepatitis type I however specific assays are not routinely available. Present in up to 50-80% patients with autoimmune hepatitis type I and in 20% of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis. Also found in viral hepatitis.
