Influenza A virus PCR
Tested for as part of a multiplex PCR test to diagnose presence of virus which may or may not be the cause of respiratory disease.
Further testing is available for subtyping of Influenza A viruses including seasonal influenza, swine flu and avian flu.

|Availability||Respiratory testing at weekends is normally performed on Sundays only except in peak influenza season when testing is 7 days|
