Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
We work within the Obstetric and Urogynaecology outpatient department.
Obstetrics care involves care throughout pregnancy and shortly after delivery.
Urogynaecology care involves care at any point throughout your lifetime related to problems with your bladder, bowel or intimacy.
We provide highly specialist assessment, treatment and advice for women for a variety of conditions throughout their lifetime. Including;
- Pregnancy related pains
- Separation of abdominal muscles
- Bladder and bowel leakage
- Prolapse problems
- Problems with intimacy. For example pain and tensing of muscles
Our goal is to make a positive difference to women's lives. We offer patient-centred advice and treatment based on the latest evidence and guided by our vast clinical experience. Our regular training ensures our excellent level of care is maintained.Our Urogynaecology department has been recognised for its high standard of care and excellent multi profession working through accreditation of the unit.
