Lynda Bailey

Biography

I qualified as a registered general nurse in 2005 having completed my training through the University of Leeds. I began my career on the regional rheumatology ward before moving to Airedale General Hospital where I worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Rheumatology. I returned to The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2011 working as a rheumatology Research Nurse for 2 years before becoming Senior Sister on the rheumatology day case unit. I then managed a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists working particularly with patients treated with biologic medications. I have been the departments Lead Nurse in Rheumatology since 2019.
