Climate change poses a significant threat to our health, and reducing harmful carbon emissions will improve health and save lives.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals fully supports the "For a greener NHS" programme and the NHS target of achieving net zero by 2040, and we have set a goal to become one of the greenest NHS Trusts in the UK.

To accomplish this will take a significant, sustained effort from staff, suppliers, patients, partners and the wider community.
