Find a Tender or Contracts Finder?
The Procurement Act 2023 legislated for provision of a central digital platform to facilitate the publishing of required notices and documents in accordance with the new regulations. An enhanced Find a Tender service (FTS) was launched on 24 February 2025, which is the central digital platform for public procurement. It makes it easier to find and bid for contracts, and for buyers to meet their transparency commitments under the Act. You can read more in this factsheet.
In line with the guidance on transitional and saving arrangements, procurements that were commenced under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCRs) must continue to be procured and managed under that legislation until such a time as the contract ceases to exist. This includes call-offs from frameworks established under the PCRs and procurements using dynamic purchasing systems established under the PCRs.
The legal requirements under part 4 of the PCRs to publish notices on Contracts Finder remain unchanged for these procurements. You can read more on gov.uk.
Atamis
Atamis is our procurement portal. We use Atamis to run tenders, from advertising the opportunity through to receiving bids and contract award. We also use Atamis for on-going communication and contract management once a contract has been awarded.
Atamis is used by many organisations across the health system because it is intended to be the ‘Health Family Single eCommercial System’. Atamis offers suppliers significant benefits as suppliers only need to register once in order to access opportunities that are offered by the many health system organisations that are using the system. The System will also enable you to accept contracts electronically and to manage contract performance and variations through the system.
If you have already registered on the system (e.g. to access contracts with another health family organisation), then there is no need to re-register to bid on Leeds contracts.
If you have not already done so, you can register as a Supplier on the Atamis website.
The Atamis Supplier Guide provides guidance on accessing the system.
You may be asked if you wish to merge your account with an existing organisation. This is based on a number of criteria, including the domain name of your email address, so please ensure that you register with your official work email address.
Further information can be found on our Atamis – Frequently Asked Questions page.
GHX Nexus
Suppliers who trade with us can provide catalogues via GHX Nexus.
The GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange) Nexus system is a data warehouse for catalogue and contract information relating to products. This allows suppliers to manage their catalogues directly in Nexus for the most up-to-date product information.
More information on registering with GHX can be found on the GHX Website or by emailing [email protected]
