This online workshop is designed for convenience and accessibility, while maintaining a high-quality training experience. It includes:
- Workshop objectives and a video tour of Joseph’s Well, including the Centre and reception.
- Understanding the OSCE, including mitigations and key processes.
- Preparing candidates for the OSCE:
- How candidates learn
- Education vs. training
- Learning styles
- Maslow’s hierarchy of needs
- Bloom’s taxonomy
- Problem-based learning
- Barriers to learning.
- Helping candidates achieve OSCE success through structured guidance and strategies.
- Marking guidance and criteria, including red flags and appeals processes.
- Common candidate errors and how to address them.
- Managing candidate anxiety and building confidence.
- Mock OSCE scenarios to demonstrate application and assessment.
