The promoter of this giveaway is Leeds OSCE Training Centre.
Prize
The prize is one place on a face-to-face NMC OSCE preparation course at Leeds OSCE Training Centre, worth £800.
The prize is for OSCE preparation training only and does not include an NMC OSCE examination booking, NMC registration, or any fee payable to the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The prize includes the course place only. It does not include travel, accommodation, food, visa costs, NMC fees, test centre fees, exam booking fees, or any other personal expenses.
3. Eligibility
This giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are eligible to attend an NMC OSCE preparation course in the UK.
Entrants must be able to attend the course in person at Leeds OSCE Training Centre.
If you have already booked and paid for your exam, please do not enter. Entries from individuals with existing bookings will not be counted, and your exam fee cannot be refunded. If an entrant with a pre-booked exam is selected as the provisional winner, the prize will be forfeited and given to the next available eligible winner.
Employees of Leeds OSCE Training Centre, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust staff directly involved in the promotion, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to request evidence of eligibility before confirming the winner.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the following steps on Instagram:
- Follow the official Leeds OSCE Training Centre Instagram account.
- Like the official giveaway post.
- Comment on the giveaway post and tag at least one friend, colleague, or fellow nurse who may be interested in OSCE training.
Entry Limits: Multiple entries are allowed, but each separate comment must tag a unique Instagram account to count as an additional entry. Repeatedly tagging the same account or using automated systems will result in disqualification.
Content Rules: Repeated duplicate comments, spam, offensive, abusive, irrelevant, or inappropriate comments may be removed or disqualified. Entrants should only tag people who would genuinely be interested in the giveaway.
Stories: Sharing the post to Instagram Stories is welcome, but it is not a mandatory requirement for entry.
Cost: No purchase is necessary to enter this giveaway.
5. Opening and Closing Date
- The giveaway opens on 1 July 2026 when the Instagram giveaway post is published.
- The giveaway closes at 23:59 BST on 16 August 2026.
- Entries received after the closing date and time will not be counted under any circumstances.
6. Winner Selection
One provisional winner will be selected at random from all valid comments within 5 working days of the giveaway closing date.
Valid comments will be reviewed before the provisional winner is selected. Any comments that do not meet the entry requirements, or that appear to be spam, automated, offensive, abusive, fraudulent, irrelevant, or inappropriate, may be removed from the draw.
The provisional winner will be selected using an impartial random selection process, such as a random comment picker or random number generator. The selection process may be witnessed by more than one member of staff to ensure absolute fairness.
Leeds OSCE Training Centre will verify that the provisional winner has fully met all entry requirements, including following the account, liking the giveaway post, and tagging a unique, valid account in their comment.
If the provisional winner has not met all entry requirements, does not meet the eligibility criteria, cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required timeframe, or is otherwise unable to accept the prize, Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
The decision of Leeds OSCE Training Centre regarding any aspect of the giveaway is final and binding.
7. Winner Notification
The provisional winner will be contacted via Direct Message (DM) from the official Leeds OSCE Training Centre Instagram account only, within 5 working days of the giveaway closing date.
The provisional winner must respond to the DM within 72 hours of being contacted. If the provisional winner does not respond within this time, is unable to accept the prize, has not met all entry requirements, or does not meet the eligibility criteria, Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
Security Warning: Leeds OSCE Training Centre will never ask entrants for bank details, credit card numbers, or payment of any kind as part of this giveaway.
The winner will only be officially confirmed once eligibility and entry requirements have been verified.
8. Course Allocation and Availability
Leeds OSCE Training Centre usually runs face-to-face cohorts approximately every four weeks. However, cohort dates are subject to availability and may be changed, postponed, or cancelled at the discretion of Leeds OSCE Training Centre, including where there are insufficient learner numbers for a cohort to run.
The winner is expected to be allocated a place on the face-to-face cohort due to start on 7th September 2026.
The winner will not be able to choose their preferred cohort date.
If the cohort due to start on 7th September 2026 is postponed or cancelled by Leeds OSCE Training Centre, the winner will be offered a place on the next available face-to-face cohort.
If the winner is unable to attend the cohort they are allocated, Leeds OSCE Training Centre will make reasonable efforts to offer a place on the next available suitable cohort, subject to availability.
The prize must be used within 6 months of the winner being notified, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Leeds OSCE Training Centre. If the winner is unable to attend any available cohort within this 6-month period, the prize will be withdrawn and no cash alternative, refund, transfer, or replacement prize will be offered.
9. Prize Conditions
The prize is strictly non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion, or offer.
The prize holds a cash value of £0.00 and cannot be transferred to another person.
10. Publicity & Winner Announcement
By entering, participants agree that Leeds OSCE Training Centre may announce the winner’s Instagram username on Instagram.
UK CAP Code Compliance: To comply with UK advertising regulations, the winner’s surname and county of residence will be made available to members of the public who email [email protected] within 30 days of the closing date. If the winner objects to their surname and county being made available, they must explicitly notify Leeds OSCE Training Centre upon being contacted. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) if legally challenged.
The winner may be invited to take part in additional reasonable publicity relating to the giveaway (e.g., a photo or testimonial), but participation in this is completely optional.
11. Disqualification
Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, duplicated excessively, abusive, offensive, misleading, inappropriate, or in breach of Instagram’s terms of use.
Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to manipulate the giveaway, use fake accounts, or gain an unfair advantage.
12. Changes to the Giveaway
Leeds OSCE Training Centre reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, or cancel the giveaway if circumstances arise outside its reasonable control.
If the prize cannot be awarded as described due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of Leeds OSCE Training Centre, the Promoter reserves the right to offer a reasonable alternative of equal or greater value where appropriate.
13. Data Protection
Personal information provided by the winner will strictly be used for the administration of the giveaway and arranging the course place.
Personal information will not be used for marketing purposes unless the entrant has separately agreed to this.
All data will be processed securely and in accordance with UK GDPR and the Leeds OSCE Training Centre Privacy Policy.
14. Instagram, NMC, and NHS Disclaimer
This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants completely release Instagram from any responsibility or liability in relation to this giveaway.
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the NMC Test of Competence, or any NHS organisation other than Leeds OSCE Training Centre as the private course provider.
Winning a place on the course does not guarantee a pass in the NMC OSCE examination, does not guarantee an NMC OSCE test booking, and does not affect any decision made by the Nursing and Midwifery Council or any NMC Test of Competence test centre.

By entering this giveaway, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
