Oncology

The Oncology CSU is part of Leeds Cancer Centre providing specialist cancer care for patients in a variety of inpatient, day case and outpatient wards and departments. Oncology’s specialist teams include; medical oncology (chemotherapy), clinical oncology (radiotherapy and brachytherapy), clinical haematology, surgical oncology (thoracic, breast and gynaecology) and specialist palliative care. Radiology

Interventional Radiology Nursing is made up of Vascular and Non-Vascular Nursing. The role of an Interventional Radiology Nurse involved assisting with all aspects of the procedure to ensure the best care possible is provided for our patients. The Radiology Nursing team workings within a close knit, multi-disciplinary team that includes Radiographers, Interventional Radiologists, Radiology Support Workers and Radiographic Assistants. There are 3 departments within Leeds Teaching Hospitals, two at St James’ University Hospital (one of which is Interventional Ultrasound) and one at Leeds General Infirmary.
