If you are anxious about a stay in hospital, you can visit the wards and departments before a planned admission or outpatient appointment.
Contact the team if you would like to discuss this further or speak to the ward or department manager. Email [email protected] or phone 0113 2066836.
We also offer desensitisation visits.

Changing Places Facilities
Changing Places are toilet facilities to assist people with disabilities. They are fitted with specialist equipment and provide enough space for up to two carers to support someone with a disability.
Leeds Teaching Hospital provides this facility at Leeds General Infirmary, Clarendon Wing, A Floor, Great George Street, LS1 3EX.
AccessAble directions and location guides
We have worked with AccessAble to produce a series of accessibility guides for our hospitals.
These guides allow patients, visitors and carers with a disability to plan their visit, identify potential barriers and understand what support is on offer.
To view these guides, visit the AccessAble website.
