Book a blood test

This is a new option available for patients at our Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) at Armley, Beeston and Seacroft, which you may find more convenient.

If you have been asked to have a blood test by a healthcare professional then you can now book your test online for these locations.

Please only book a blood test if you have been asked to do so by a healthcare professional.

The booking system is called Swiftqueue. Please click below to access the system.

Same-day appointments at the Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) are still available but you may have a longer wait.

Walk-in appointments are also available at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary, Chapel Allerton Hospital and Wharfedale Hospital.

How does the online booking system work?

Click the “Book a blood test online for Armley/Beeston/Seacroft CDC” button above.
Select the date and time that suits you and click on the Next button. This will take you to the registration page.
Register your details with Swiftqueue by clicking on the blue button that says New User Register here
You will be sent an activation code which you will be required to enter in the next screen i.e. the confirmation page. (Check your junk/spam folder if you didn’t receive this.)
Please enter this code and proceed to the Confirmation page
Accept the terms and conditions and click on Confirm button.
You will receive instant email or text message confirmation of your appointment and be able to view your appointment in your account once it is booked.
You have now created a registered email address and password which you can use to log in as an Existing User for future appointments.

To book an appointment, click the “Book a blood test online for a Community Diagnostic Centre” button above.
Select the test type e.g. Adult blood or Child blood test.
Select the date and time you wish to attend for your test and then click the Next button. The time screen will offer you the next available time. You can click the right arrow to move to a later date/month if needed.
Log into Swiftqueue as an Existing User using your registered email address and password.
On the confirmation page select the Patient Name (If age restricted shows, this means the clinic does not accept patients for that age group).
Tick BOTH boxes to agree to the terms and conditions and hit submit.
There is an option to add comments so that the staff are aware if needed.
Special Assistance option – alerts staff that you may need assistance. (This does NOT request a wheelchair etc. This must be requested directly with the hospital.)
You will receive a confirmation email for your appointment once booked and see this in your Upcoming Appointments section in your patient portal. Please check your Junk / Spam folder if you don’t receive this in case it has been redirected there instead of your main email folder.
