The Leeds MND Care Team also works with other MND centres to allow people affected by MND access to clinical trials and to participate in research projects designed to improve understanding of the disease. We have close links with Sheffield MND Team which allows our patients to take part in national and international research studies without having to travel far.
Please let your MND doctor or nurse specialist know of your interest in research involvement as there may be other research studies that you could get involved in as well.
The MND Association (MNDA) is a national charity that funds and promotes global research into the disease and provides support for people affected by MND. It provides reliable and up-to-date information regarding MND and ongoing research.
You can also register with the MNDA if you are interested in taking part in any research.
