Yes, each nursery has its own waiting list and we advise that you add your children to the waiting list as soon as possible. Please note we do not accept applications until after babies are born.
Yes. Breakfast, lunch and a light snack tea are provided as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. Formula milk will need to be brought in by parents to be made up by the team when needed. We have storage facilities available if your child is on breast milk, and we can cater to all diets at nursery.
Yes, all new families will have a minimum of three visits which will increase in duration leading up to the agreed start date.
If you are employed by the Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust or one of the participating Trusts you could save up to 36% of the costs by using our Salary Sacrifice Scheme. This means the cost of your childcare will be taken from your gross pay (before tax, NI and pension contributions). We also accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare.
Yes each nursery is registered to receive the Government Working Families’ Grant for eligible children from the school term after they turn 9 months, and the Education Grant for eligible children form the school term after they turn 3 years. Please be aware that it is a parent’s responsibility to apply for these grants within the time frame set by the government. Grants are given 38 weeks of the year (school term time) and at the Trust nurseries we pro-rata the payments deducting the same amount of grant funding from your nursery fees over 12 months. All remaining fees will be payable as usual.
Your monthly fees will remain the same if you are on holiday or if your child is ill. Nursery fees are also pro rata so you pay the same amount each month (excluding any extra ad-hoc days).
We normally ask that children do a minimum of two full days. Depending on the availability at your chosen nursery we may be able to accommodate half day places and one day places.
Each nursery has a limited number of flexible places. In order to have a flexible place we ask for children to be contracted to a minimum number of days each week (usually three full days) and for days to be booked four weeks in advance so the nursery can plan accordingly.
We are open all year-round Monday to Friday except bank holidays and each nursery has one training day per year.
Your contract is flexible, but any changes will need one months’ notice, including leaving the nursery and changing days etc.
Yes. A retainer fee will be charged once a place has been offered and accepted. The amount depends on days/sessions required, usually £100 per day/session. So, for three full days you would need to make a one-off payment of £300.
