Referrals
Our referral pathways and criteria are developed with our commissioning partners and NHS England. They aim to provide equitable and sustainable care for our patients.

Self-referrals
Unfortunately we can’t accept self referrals and all patients must be referred by the appropriate pathways.
Leeds CCG patients – Non specialist referrals
Patients should be referred to the community pain service or MSK service for assessment, treatment and if appropriate they will refer to the Leeds PAIN Service.
Non Leeds CCG patients – Non specialist referrals
These patients are not routinely accepted and should be referred to their local pain services.
Specialist referrals
Referrals for consideration of neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation or peripheral nerve stimulation) or advanced cancer pain can be made from the Leeds CCG area or further afield. They can be made by an appropriate specialist or another pain service.
