Complex Rehabilitation
Welcome to the Complex Rehabilitation Unit at Chapel Allerton Hospital.
The focus of the work here is rehabilitation and is multi-disciplinary orientated. Ward C1 and C2 have a team of therapists including social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, speech and language therapists and dietitians whom work alongside medics and nurses to provide specialist intensive rehabilitation to patients with a range of conditions; including strokes, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, central nervous system cancers and long term neurological conditions.
The aim of rehabilitation is to maximise functional outcomes and improve quality of life.
