Additional Information | ANA by indirect immunofluorescence if added to all new positive ANA screen on the Biioplex platfor. ANA IIF also form part of the Ab profile screen for scleroderma and myositis. ANA may be requested by Rheumatology in patients where there is a strong clinical suspeicion of connective tissue disease, but where the Bioplex ANA screen is negative. |
