Antibodies to Myelin Associated Glycoproteins (MAG) may be found in demyelinating polyneuropathies associated with autoimmune mechanisms.

Additional Information Around 50% of patients with neuropathy-associated IgM gammopathy have anti-MAG antibodies asssociated with IgM paraproteins therefore serum electrophoresis should be performed as well.
