After your planned course of treatment has finished you will be discharged back to the care of your own GP, but we will continue to help. Our clinical nurse specialists (CNS), who will have spoken to you during your treatment, will monitor your progress and help you if necessary in dealing with and adapting to any long-term health issues, and liaising with other organisations such as Social Services and the Community Nursing Service.
If you need help or advice, your CNS is the first person you should look to. Contact details can be found by clicking on one of the conditions treated and then the Support and Contact Information in the relevant condition section.
You will be called to see our doctors at some point after your treatment, but this very much depends on the disease you had, the drugs that you were given and your general health. If you are concerned that you have not been seen, it is worth calling your CNS or talking to your own GP.
