Our POCT Approach
To ensure safe, accurate, and effective testing, our POCT service follows three core principles:
1. Best in class equipment – Chosen for safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness, while reducing clinical risk
2. Standardised procedures – Clear protocols and staff training ensure consistent, high-quality testing and device maintenance
3. Clinical governance – Adherence to national standards and regulatory requirements supports accountability and patient safety
Used correctly, POCT enhances traditional lab models by offering a more responsive and flexible approach to diagnostics.
