The Prescription Management Team provides administrative support to the doctors, nurses and pharmacists involved in the delivery of your homecare medication. They can supply blood request cards, answer simple enquiries about the delivery process and ensure your prescription is issued on time. They are vital to ensure that our rheumatology services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

I started working in Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Ward Housekeeper in 2001.
I then completed an LTHT apprenticeship to become a Clinical Support Worker and was awarded Apprentice Clinical Support Worker of the Year in XXXX.
I have worked in the Rheumatology department at Chapel Allerton Hospital since 2015, first on the Day Case Unit (Ward C5) and then as part of the Prescription Management Team.
I am currently the Administrative Co-ordinator for the department’s Lead Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Special interests include: staff wellbeing; data analysis; department progression; enhancing patient information and knowledge.

These knowledgeable administrators manage the calls received on our Rheumatology Advice Line and allocate appointment times for a nurse to call you back.
