Anti-Cyclic Citrullinate Peptide (CCP) Antibodies

CCP Ab are a useful marker of early RA however the 2009 NICE guidelines recommend the continued use of rheumatoid factor. Consider measuring anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodies in people with suspected RA if they are negative for rheumatoid factor.
