Hepatology Research

The Hepatology Research Team aims to have a diverse research portfolio that offers many patients the opportunity to take part in clinical trials.

The hepatology research activities at LTHT cover a wide range of sub-specialities such as:

  • Metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease,
  • Alcohol associated liver diseases,
  • Viral hepatitis,
  • PBC, PSC, HCC,
  • Liver cirrhosis, Wilson’s disease, Polycystic liver disease.

The research team have several years of experience in delivering complex trials involving new medicinal agents in addition of delivering more standard trials.
