The hepatology research activities at LTHT cover a wide range of sub-specialities such as:
- Metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease,
- Alcohol associated liver diseases,
- Viral hepatitis,
- PBC, PSC, HCC,
- Liver cirrhosis, Wilson’s disease, Polycystic liver disease.
The research team have several years of experience in delivering complex trials involving new medicinal agents in addition of delivering more standard trials.
