The Infection and Emergency Research Team screen and approach patients that fit study eligibility criteria and offer opportunities to participate in research that could improve their treatments.
Current infection research involves diseases such as HIV, Tuberculosis, flu, sepsis and encephalitis. In Accidents & Emergency, we have trials running on syncope management, mild head injury in older adults, as well as traumatic and spontaneous pneumothoraces.
