The Hearing and Balance Centre at Leeds Teaching Hospitals offers hearing assessments and high quality hearing aids to adults in the Leeds area.
Our highly qualified staff can provide expert hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting where required. The Hearing and Balance Centre offers a comprehensive range of hearing instruments and specially trained staff to cater for individuals with complex hearing losses.

The hearing service offers care at a number of locations throughout Leeds including Seacroft Hospital, as well as a number of local health centres for adult hearing aid repair services.
Hearing Aids
NHS hearing aids are provided to adults free of charge. The aids provided at the Hearing and Balance Centre are of the highest quality and contain the latest technology available to the NHS. The style of hearing aid may vary depending on the severity and requirements of your natural hearing levels.
If you are concerned that you may have a problem with your hearing or would like to try an NHS hearing aid you can arrange an appointment with your GP.

The Leeds Hearing and Sight Loss Service provide hearing aid users and people with visual impairments with advice, support and information on environmental equipment that may help you at home. There is a walk-in service on Thursdays between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm and 4.00 pm.
