Day Five
Day five is often the day your catheter can be removed; this will be decided on the doctors ward round. From now on please measure your urine output by passing urine into a jug and writing it on your fluid chart as well as what you are drinking.
Weigh yourself before breakfast.
Spend most of the day out of bed. Walk 2 ERAS laps 6 times today.
Continue spirometer exercises.
If your wound has been dry, the dressing can often be removed today and stay off. The nurses will assess this for you.
