Leeds Cancer Support: What Happens Next
Hello,
We hope that the information we have provided, including the videos, has been helpful to you. By reading and watching the content, you have now completed Part One of your patient education program.
Your Clinical Nurse Specialist and I would now like to warmly invite you to Part Two, which, due to the COVID pandemic, will be delivered as a virtual Teams meeting. This is a valuable opportunity for you to speak with other patients who have experienced the same type of cancer, discuss any concerns you may have, and share how you are feeling now. We are here to address any worries about side effects or other aspects of your care to help you move forward.
You may also have questions about topics covered in Part One or would like more information about services, groups, or therapies available to you.
Your experience of cancer and its treatment could be incredibly helpful to others. Sharing how you have coped with side effects and managed your care may offer support to someone else. At the same time, reflecting on your experience could help you feel more at ease moving forward.
Please be assured that we will not put you on the spot or ask you to share details of your cancer journey unless you are comfortable doing so.
We look forward to meeting you. If you have not received the details for your virtual Teams meeting or need help accessing it, please contact Leeds Cancer Support at 0113 206 6498.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
