For general advice
If you have a question about your maternity care please contact your named community midwife. You will be given their contact details early in your pregnancy. Please allow a few days for a reply as not all midwives work full time and they cannot respond to you when they caring for others.
If you have any early pregnancy concerns before your first midwife appointment, please contact your GP or NHS 111 for advice.

Please note that in maternity this only applies to antenatal clinic appointments (e.g. to see a consultant) and fetal assessment appointments (e.g. for growth scans). Maternity and Neonatal Independent Senior Advocates (ISA) help ensure the voices of women and families are listened to, heard and acted upon by their maternity and neonatal care providers when they have experienced an adverse outcome during their maternity and/or neonatal care. Requesting maternity health records
Patients can request a copy of their own health records. To do this, please complete an application form and provide a copy of identification by email to: [email protected]. On receipt of this information, the Trust is legally allowed 30 calendar days to process the request.
