Leeds Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership
Leeds Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listen to the voices of women, partners, and families to help improve local maternity and neonatal services. If you would like to share your experience, please become a parent representative.
What do parent representatives do?
- Listen to experiences of parents about maternity and neonatal services
- Attend online or in person meetings every 3 months.
- Can attend other meetings on behalf of MNVP.
- When the NHS are planning any changes or improvements to maternity and neonatal services, MNVP representatives share their ideas.
If you would like to share your experiences, volunteer, or find out more please get in touch. Phone: 0113 2762 851, email: [email protected] or follow LeedsMNVP on social media.

Meet Darren from Dad Matters UK! You might see him out and about around our hospitals offering support to Dads across maternity services and our neonatal units.
Dad Matters is a project delivered by the charity Home Start Leeds which provides support for Dads from conception up to 2 years old.
This includes support with bonding and attachment, accessing services, supporting good mental health and helping Dads of have the best possible relationship with their family. This support is confidential and conducted in a one to one environment which allows dads to speak openly about their situation and any difficulties they are facing.
Dad Matters co-ordinators are dads themselves so they have lots of understanding and empathy for expectant and new dads.
To get in touch with Darren please see the Dad Matters Leeds Facebook page, email [email protected] or phone 0113 244 2419.
