We plan our recruitment to match workforce needs and entry level apprenticeships are a way of starting your career here at Leeds. At Leeds we believe that apprenticeships can help you Get In, Get on, and Go further.
We believe in building for our future and the creation of career pathways means that you can start your journey with us with no previous qualifications and work alongside our professionals earning while you learn. Many work areas have now designed pathways that take Level 2 entry apprentices through to Level 7 apprenticeships.
Please visit our Leeds Way Values Webpage for further information.
Our staff helped to define the values and behaviours that we should work to so that we can achieve this vision. This has become known as The Leeds Way, and forms the foundation of our culture, our ethos and how we work every day. We use these values when recruit into apprenticeship roles.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality and safest treatment and care to every patient, every time.
The Leeds Way is who we are and what we believe. It defines how we work to deliver the best possible care and outcomes for our patients. The Leeds Way is about listening and being inclusive and taking on board the very best ideas out there.
Recruiting to Entry-level Apprenticeships
We recruit for your values and train your skills. Entry level roles do not require formal qualifications and the apprentice structure is such that you are supported to achieve academically while earning a wage and learning on the job.
All our entry level roles are advertised on the NHS Jobs Website. Search for the apprenticeship and make sure you read the advert carefully. Look for a contact name and address and ask questions before applying. We are here to help.
Apprenticeships can be stepping stones on a career pathway of your choosing so search for some of the pathways that already exist.
